Coin Description: Partial date (1)702 Mexico Eight Reales. 27.0 grams. Full “OML”, although the “L” is a bit indistinct. Obverse shield is approximately 40% complete. Obverse shows bluish tone with ocean sediment still apparent. Reverse cross well centered and nearly complete. Portions of all lions and castles visible. Bluish tone and ocean sediment still visible. Overall a very interesting coin with a distinctive shape.
